Students and Young Scientists’ First Scientific Conference was held in June 7-8th, 2013
On June 7-8, 2013, the Ivane Beritashvili Center for Experimental Biomedicine hosted the first significant “Students and Young Scientists’ First Scientific Conference” organized by the Students’ and Young Scientists’ Scientific Association (SYSSA). Prof. Levan Tvildiani, rector of the David Tvildiani Medical University, and Dr. David Nadareishvili, head of the Ivane Beritashvili Institute for Experimental Biomedicine, signed a memorandum of collaboration during the conference. The meeting covered a wide range of contemporary medical concerns. Students from David Tvildiani Medical University, Tbilisi State Medical University, Tbilisi State University, Ilia State University, and Georgian Technical University participated as undergraduate and doctoral students. Georgian and English were the working languages. The Evaluation Committee reviewed the oral and poster presentations, identifying the best presentations (I, II, and III places; Best Poster Presentation), the authors of which were then announced.
