On December 16th, 2017 “VI Scientific Session: A. Nobel’s Day – Preventive Medicine”, was held in MediclubGeorgia, organized by Students and Young Scientists’ Scientific Association (SYSSA) of David Tvildiani Medical University (DTMU). Participants were undergraduate students from DTMU, Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU) and special guest, prof. Nana Tskhakaia. Audience was greeted by Prof. Nia Bregvadze-Tabagari. After her speech, Dr. Giorgi Gotsadze, Medical Director of MediClub Georgia, gave an introductory speech and awarded MediclubGeorgia scholarship to VI year DTMU student, Giorgi Sabakhtarishvili. After MediClub Scholarship Award, Prof. Sergo Tabagari awarded DTMU IV Year student, Avtandil Kochiashvili, with DTMU Student Of The Year Award. DTMU Scholarship Awards were given to DTMU students: Dina Adel Eshak Nazir, Ana Sinauridze, Avtandil Kochiashvili, Tamar Ratishvili and Nino Ghudushauri. After the awards, DTMU students shared their experiences from participation in international conferences: Ernst Klenk Symposium 2017, iMed Conference 9.0, Neuroscience 2017. After these presentations, SYSSA president Avtandil Kochiashvili gave an introductory speech. Session consisted of oral presentations regarding Preventive Medicine and special presentations regarding vaccinology and immunology led by special guests from AIVA and Prof. Nana Tskhakaia. At the end of the session, Prof. Tamar Talakvadze awarded participation certificates to all participants. Certificates were also awarded to the organizing committee members of SYSSA.
